Please note that the first meeting of this course will take place in the second week of term (29.4--3.5).
This language practice course for advanced students focusses on one central goal: to improve each student's ability to produce clear, nuanced English writing in a time-limited classroom context. Achieving this goal involves a number of steps: reading and understanding tasks and questions, developing and organizing ideas and arguments, defining and explaining concepts, choosing appropriate lexical items and grammatical structures, writing clear sentences and paragraphs, and proofreading.
In our pursuit of this goal, each student will have the opportunity to develop their own language competence at their own level.
This course is not graded; regular attendance and completion of in-class assignments is required. |
